This is why we all do it!
To all those who shared their time riding for a wonderful young girl, we at EastEnd Motorsports Thank you......This is what Katy wrote in her journal....Was it a beautiful day where you live? We hope it was as gorgeous where you are as it was here in Sag Harbor! Kate started the day with breakfast and then a motrcade of motorcycles! Amazing, huh? Some very kind people organized a ride on Katy's behalf today, called none other than "Katy's Ride!" Many of her friends held up signs that said things like "Go Katy!" and "You Can Do It Katy!" and "Katy is awesome!" from the side of the road as the bikers drove by. Katy was thrilled! Well, after all, how many people do you know who have something as cool as that happen to them? The riders tooted their horns and gave Katy the thumbs up as they passed by. Katy waved to all of them from the median by the wind mill. It sounded like thunder! We could hear them seven minutes before we could see them pass over the bridge! Kevin, Katy's Godfather, and many other riders waved as they passed Kate! It was magnificent! She loved it, and we know for sure we will never forget the kindness of that gesture. How could Katy help but feel inspired and bouyed by such a thing?!! Really very special, and just terrific!
We hope to see you next year for our 4th Annual Charity ride to be held on Oct. 17,2010 with a rain date of Oct. 24,2010.
